I believe in progress not perfection. It’s easier to get things done, when you have the right mindset. Download this free printable as a daily reminder!
No matter where you are at in your life, there’s no doubt that you can always improve something. We all have aspects we want to work on and more often than not, we have lots of dreams and goals that just seem out of reach.
Lately, I’ve been feeling that end-of-the-year anxiety. Whenever a new year rolls around, I often find my mind filled with so many thoughts, aspirations and fears… so many feelings that it just seems overwhelming.
So it’s time to reset and guide myself out of this anxious space.
Reset your life!
We have all accomplished things in life and we have all failed at things in life. But I think it’s the most important that we truly believe in a growth mindset, allowing ourselves the possibility of learning and ultimately changing for the better, no matter what happens.
As a first step, I wanted to create this printable quote art that serves as a mantra. It’s a proclamation – I Believe in Progress Not Perfection – that reinforces the idea of moving forward. To me, it ultimately means that you take responsibility for your own life and know that only you can make the changes required. Nothing good will come from grasping for perfection (a total illusion), so simply believe in progress instead.
I designed this printable as a beautiful printable piece of art that you can sign and date – to make it official – and post up so that you can read it to yourself daily. The repetition will truly help to solidify the idea and I really need it for myself as well. This is the first step in creating a reset for yourself.

Ready to document the holidays? Here’s my December Daily Paper Designs that I used to make my own handmade December Daily Album.
Handmade December Daily This Year!
Printable December Daily papers by tortagialla.com
This year, I took the leap and just designed my own December Daily album. It’s a mix of papers, sort of eclectic and dark… but I like it! Are you ready for December Daily? *NOTE: I am no longer on patreon, so these papers are not available anywhere. I think I will post them to my current ko-fi community though ->
Using all the digital designs, I just made my own december daily album. You can do so with printables or anything you already have in your stash. Just takes a bit of time to look through your materials and find papers and patterns that you can work with. Sometimes they don’t need to be holiday themed… because you will probably add holiday embellishments anyway.
I think holiday journaling is always a fun way to keep the ephemera from all the events of the season and junk journaling is especially casual and easy to do. I printed all my papers with my inkjet printer at home, so it’s nothing fancy. A bit of trimming, gluing and sewing, a dash of glitter and all my foundation pages were ready to go and numbered. So then I could just add in journaling and ephemera daily throughout December.
Honestly, i’m proud that I was able to do create it all from materials I already have at home. Handmade, all the way. I’m definitely trying to bust the stash and decrease the amount of space needed for supplies. Plus, I can just design what I need – the beauty of digital printables!

Keep positive reminders all around using this free art printable quote to decorate and brighten up your living spaces – Create Don’t Hate!
My Design Motivations
Intolerance of any kind seems to be a common problem when you flip through news outlets these days. It’s such a horrible thing, yet we all do it to some degree or another. Judgement of others, rejection of others… or even ourselves!
I want to create something positive and happy to share with you all, so I though the phrase “Create, don’t hate” would be perfect. Because truly, it all comes down to that.
Hate just doesn’t serve us at all… it’s the root of so many problems in our society. Rather, whatever issues may be, it’s creation that will help us find the way. Find solutions, think creatively, make love… all that good stuff. Create!
I know that I’m just a little designer at her desk, tackling the everyday issues of life – like many of you! With all the big issues of this world, it seems impossible to make change. But really, all we have to do is concentrate on creation. Create beautiful things, joyful things, happy things… good things. The more creation there is, the more it will weed out all the other negative stuff – or at least, help to overpower it!
So that’s what this art printable is all about. A simple graphic design with my favorite colors. You can download this letter sized printable to put up all around you house, workplace, planners, art journals – or plaster it up all over the neighborhood!
I hope it will remind you to look towards the positive in life and make you realize you CAN do something. Just create!

She’s an expert in vlogging, but really shares all kinds of tips and tricks around lifestyle, living well and productivity.
She has this signature line in her videos to say good morning, good life and I was so inspired one day, I had to create a set of prints with that sentiment!
Design details…
I actually created a set of prints and expanded the thought a bit, so there are 3 separate art printables that include:
good morning, good life
heart
good life, good night
And of course, all of this with a simple, chic look on blush pink! This art printable set is perfect for your bedroom or office wall.
For me, it’s really about setting a positive intention in your day, as soon as you wake up. Have a good morning, to make yourself a good life and keeping that thought in mind, means you will have a good night as well.
Sort of full circle, tie it all together… because our perspective on life really does matter a lot and makes a big difference in how we tackle all the issues we will surely bump up against in life.
