Warm summer nights mean a lot of time spent outdoors and often gazing at the night sky. I wanted to convey this feeling of my summer nights with my kiddos while on vacation and created this zodiac constellation design for a set of patterned papers. I’ve decided to put the star constellations onto a dark navy and lighter purple background. So you can have a dark and light variation.

Summer air makes me think of the beach and lazy days by the water. I wanted to create something with a peaceful relaxing feeling, so here are some ocean waves digital papers. There is a lovely gradient of colors for the waves throughout the paper design, so I think this would make a perfect background for a number of ocean themed projects.
I’ve included a brighter teal version and then a darker navy version as well. So you have variety to use for this ocean waves motif. Do you already have a project in mind? I hope you will find these digital papers useful for your crafty paper projects.

Delicate florals for the season, download these lily of the valley digital papers for your art journaling, collage, scrapbooking and more!
As the season here warms up, I always have florals on my mind. So it’s no surprise that I create a lot of flower illustrations and subsequently a lot of floral patterned papers. Today I’m sharing this lily of the valley illustration with you in two color variations. There is the brown version and the green version… so I think you can use this texture canvas digital paper on many projects. Are you a fan of the lily of the valley flower?
Although I usually print all my patterned papers at home for creative journaling, remember you can resize, print on vellum or colored paper and get creative with these digital papers. They are great for cardmaking, scrapbooking, planner decor and all types of papercrafting projects.

Here are some classic bamboo digital papers for free download, perfect for cardmaking, collage or scrapbooking. A great addition to your digital toolkit for paper crafting projects!
For today’s freebie, I decided to create a dark and light version of this bamboo field motif. I think it’s a great pattern for backgrounds and it’s definitely very nature inspired. For the month of February this year, I also want to use these paper for some Lunar New Year journaling. The bamboo motif represents many things in Chinese culture like moral integrity, resistance, modesty and loyalty. We have often seen it as decoration on a variety of items. I also think there is this beautiful mix of how it can be so elegant, but also a bit lonely as it stands and waves in the wind. Just lots of meaning can be put into this one design.
I hope you will enjoy using these two variations of the bamboo digital papers – both light and dark – and you can even put them side by side for instant contrast on a journal page. That is definitely what comes to mind for my own creative journal…
When using digital printables, remember that you can print the designs at any size with your home printer. I often print a full page just to have papers ready to go for journaling and crafting. However, you can print 2 per page, 4 per page or even more – just check your printer settings and set a percentage or size. This will give you a lot of options and allows you to change the scale of a design. Oftentimes an illustration can have a very different effect going from full-size to much smaller scale. The great thing about digital printables is that you can print out as many copies as you need and experiment to your hearts content!

Download these birch tree digital papers for your scrapbooking and journaling projects, a beautiful background to work from.
Whenever there is chilly air in the mornings, I alway seem to have bare birch trees pictured in my mind. I suppose it is a classic scene of these trees standing in the snowy landscape. So I decided to take the illustrations and make them into a digital paper background. What do you think?
I’ve also included two versions, both brown and grey color palettes to suit a variety of projects. Sometimes we want a bit of the warmth in our work, so choose the brown for that. But other times the grey version will be less bold and perhaps easier to fit in with many other elements on your project. I’m definitely going to use this as a background for a whole spread in my journal.
However, whether you like to creative journal, junk journal or just play around in a composition book – patterned papers are great resource and an easy way to start off your page. But of course you can also use digital papers for scrapbooking, cardmaking and other papercrafting projects.
