It’s that time of year when everyone seems to be looking forward to pumpkin spice lattes and cozying up with some Netflix! I’m definitely ready for sweater weather, how about you? I wanted to commemorate the times with a themed paper design so created this printable paper design that can be used in scrapbooking, journaling and decor for your planner.
I love to print these designs at home and add in bits and pieces to my journaling for backgrounds and collage pieces. You can also use this for your planner dashboards and decorations. And since you have the digital paper, you can also print this at a smaller or larger size depending on your papercrafting project. The sky is the limit with digital papers!

Looking for some vintage botanical style papers for planner, journaling and creative projects? Download these freebie digital paper patterns.
The New York Public Library has a digital collection has loads of public domain imagery, so it’s a great resource for anyone that likes vintage styled documents, maps, florals and pages. For old manuscripts and pages in the public domain, I like to use them to create some digital papers as well. You can also visit Unsplash for loads of free imagery to use in your papercrafting, especially when searching for vintage or botanical. Those of us who design and share have to pay attention to copyright laws, but if you are creating for personal use, I think it’s perfectly fine to just print whatever you see on your screen for personal/private projects.
Lately I’ve been feeling the vintage vibe and wanting florals to add to my junk journaling, so that’s the motivation behind these botanical papers. They are quite simple and almost wallpaper-like to me. I’m participating in #junkjournaljuly on Instagram, so definitely reaching for vintage papers more than anything else these days.

I know that I’m posting late in the month of June for Pride month of awareness, but I’ve had this idea in my mind for awhile, just took a bit to get onto the computer and design! The month of June every year is when we celebrate in a number of ways to recognize, bring awareness and support the LGBTQIA+ community. Why June you say? Because it is when the Stonewall Riots took place, way back in 1969. Known as the “Mother of Pride”, Brenda Howard is credited to have started this June celebration.
Certainly things have come a long way, but there’s still a long path ahead of us because injustice is still rampant and doing harm to the the LGBTQIA+ community. There are countries where it is still illegal to be gay, so progress still needs to be pushed forward. I have loved ones in this community and even if I didn’t know anyone personally, it still means a lot of mean to support diversity and freedom for all. I believe that love is a basic human right, so I’ve always loved the phrase Love is Love. That’s why I created this design and I think it’s perfect to put up on the wall, include in your planner and/or your journal for some lovely journaling time.
