Looking for some Chinese New Year papers for crafting? Download these free printables and print them yourself at home!

Chinese New Year is the celebration of the beginning of a new year in the Chinese calendar. Besides using themed paper to document your family memories there are lots of fun papercrafting projects for everyone to participate in.
Whether your family is Chinese or not, it’s always nice to learn about different cultures and traditions. The Chinese New Year celebration involves family gatherings, lots of eating and celebrations in the form of lion dances and fireworks, but also gifting red envelopes of money to share good fortune and prosperity.
It’s a festive and upbeat time, so the emphasis is on celebration, which is a good thing for everyone. Have a fun time, recognizing the culture and enjoy the festivities.

I decided to create some Chinese New Year themed patterned papers that would work great for memory keeping, but also for other paper crafting projects. Maybe you want some paper lanterns for decoration or making your own envelopes for gifting. My kids always enjoy cutting papers, collaging and making dragons or paper lanterns.
My love for digital papers is around accessibility and ease of storage especially. You can save all the papers you want for a future date on a hard drive and print as many copies as you need at the moment, without ever worrying about using up all your favorite designs. They will always be available and that is the power of printables!

Looking for a free printable valentine scrapbook paper? Download this all over heart design with matching lined design for your projects!

As we approach February, the Valentine holiday is definitely on my mind. Although I’m not into the commercial aspects, I do like all occasions to celebrate love, romance and relationships. Whether you are making gifts for a significant other, your friends or your children – it’s a great occasion to just show that you care!
I love creating paper crafts and making a card or two for friends and family. Scrapbooking is also a great way to frame your photos and add the memories to your documentation. Lately I’ve been feeling the muted color palette, so created this cute heart-filled patterned paper design in a very muted burgundy wine color palette. The striped paper matches up with the busy heart design, so I hope these will be useful for your projects!
Will you scrapbook, make a card or wrap a small gift with these printable papers? I love to use printable papers in my art journaling as well.

FREEBIE printable shamrock templates and full-color paper designs for coloring and crafting this St. Patrick’s Day or any Irish themed craft project.

Printable Shamrock Templates
Lately I’ve been playing around with the shamrock design and shape. I love how the leaves of clover look like little hearts stuck together. Super cute and adorable, just right up my alley!
So I thought it was only right to create some shamrock printables to share here on the blog. For those of us with little kids, coloring and crafting are fun art projects to past the time. So I’ve create a printable shamrock template that has the 3 leaf and 4 leaf clover on one page. It can be a coloring page, use for collage and learning around the theme of plants, St. Patrick’s Day and green related lessons.
Of course, while I was at it, I also used the design to go a bit further and create a shamrock patterned paper design. It has lots of layered color and an organic textile texture to it as well. It’s a pretty printable paper design for scrapbooking, art journaling and all kinds of paper crafting projects. Everything is available for free download below.

Looking for free printable scrapbook paper? Then check out this pretty patterned paper design and download it today for all your papercrafting projects.
Scrapbooking Supply Envy
Living in a small town in Italy means that I don’t have access to many of the popular scrapbooking supplies. The cost of buying internationally often means that shipping costs more than the item itself. What a downer, huh?
I used to struggle with envy and budgeting for my crafty hobby, but now I always turn to digital printables instead.
Scrapbook Paper Printing and Ink Nirvana
I am in love with HP Instant Ink (disclaimer: this is my affiliate link), which makes printing at home super affordable and I never have to worry about a design using too much ink or if I’ll run out of printer ink all of sudden. So seriously, it’s the best service ever and I totally feel like it’s a printer girl’s nirvana!
Thus, as a total convert to digital printables, I go the extra mile and design whatever I need for memory keeping and paper crafting projects. I’m a graphic designer, so have all the software at my figure tips, might as well take advantage of it all.
Of course, I love to share my papers with others who share the love of patterned paper and I’m so happy that it’s instant access for everyone. Basically, it’s free and accessible to everyone in the world!
Okay, now you can probably tell that I’m a fan of the pink color palette! Yes, I created a very pink floral design, is it overload?
Really though, this paper would be perfect for a little girl scrapbook or even wedding or bridesmaids crafts. Anyone who loves a little girly pink will appreciate this design.

Let me share a few ways to wrap gift cards for last minute gift giving plus free printable star patterned papers that you can print and use instantly!

As we get closer to Christmas day, gift cards make it easy to quickly check off your list, especially for hard to shop for friends. Are you are on the last-minute band wagon grabbing gift cards as a last resort? Or perhaps, you actually enjoy giving gift cards, because they allow you to show your gratitude without burdening people with another generic novelty gift item?
Personally, I really love the idea of gift cards if you don’t have a very specific gift in mind for your recipient. It gives THEM the power to choose what they truly would like and eliminates the random knick knacks and junk that ends up cluttering the house.
The problem is how to package up the gift card as an actual pretty gift.
You have to admit that it’s nice to unwrap an actual gift during the holidays. The element of surprise is always a delight. But even just the aesthetics of packaging up a gift, shows that you put effort into it. I think it’s nice to add a special handmade touch to gift card giving, so check out the ideas below for wrapping them up as gifts.
Even though gift cards are easy to pick up at the store and have pretty designs on them already, I still like to put them in a pretty envelope at the least. Or even better, is to package it in a pretty box or container that you can traditionally wrap up. The extra effort of packaging it up really does make the recipient feel special and loved. And for those who are making multiples for teachers or co-workers, it’s definitely a good idea to spruce up the gift cards with a handmade component.
Well, I love paper printables and the easiest way to package up a gift card is to put it in a small box and wrap it up like a traditional gift! Even wrapping up an envelope can be a nice idea, because there’s still that element of presenting a nicely wrapped gift with a ribbon on top.
So I designed a set of simple, elegant, printer-friendly holiday stars papers to share with you. They are easy to print at home, as many copies as you might need for wrapping up small items like gift cards.
Download the 12×12 inch printable PDFs below, in your preferred color and wrap away.
