Wondering how to use printables in your crafty projects? It’s definitely an amazing resource and I’m exploring cardmaking right now!
Using my own heart themed digital stamps and designs (check out the freebies) – I’ve made a bunch of handmade cards. It’s exciting to be able to create my own designs and using them to realize some type of project. But of course, you don’t have to make your own designs, because there are so many printables out there for free download (as well as paid ones)
All you need is a bit of time to explore the options and try out printables for yourself. Here’s what I created today…
Using Digital Printables
If you are wondering how to use printables, it’s really the most simple process. Digital printables are basically digital files you can download onto your computer. They might be PDFs or image files like JPGs. Either way, once you save them on your computer, you are free to print them at home or send them to a print shop. You can resize and adjust as you like, but the idea is that you can print your own designs to use crafting.
Digita papers are great for scrapbooking and cardmaking – or really any paper project you have in mind.
As for various designs and digital stamps, you can use the outlines and imagery as templates for stenciling or other home decor projects. The sky is really the limit… it’s up to your imagination.
And the great thing about printables is that you always have the digital file, so you can reuse and try things again and again. Digital supplies also take up much less space!

Today I have been doodling a lot with the shape of the heart and came up with a few digital stamps to share with you. This sheet is a free printable download, so you can immediately download this and start crafting away!
I’m a huge fan of all things love-themed, so this love clipart set is perfect for Valentine’s Day crafts and any lovey dovey project. I printed my designs out on white paper to color them in, but consider printing on pink paper or something textured for a different effect!

There’s still so much to explore with digital design for me, but I have to say I love creating digital stamps and drawing… seeing all the wonderful creations that come out of this hobby is so satisfying and fun.
I have seen digital stamps that are very large images, but I have been making PDFs, just from my experience as a graphic designer. I’m assuming folks resize at home and print however small or large they would like. It’s interesting that some people have never heard of digital printables, yet there are whole communities dedicated to using them… so it’s just a matter of time!
Is there a standard, I wonder? I know there’s still much to learn on my end in regards to digital designs and offering digital stamps for download. From patterned paper designs to clipart… I don’t know if there is a “right” way to do things, but I hope you enjoy what I share here, either way. Thank you in advance for your support!

I’m back with a few more digital drawings made in the clip art outline style for your DIY crafts. Download these freebies for your own projects!
So I’ve been exploring this aspect of making digital drawings and realized that I could create outlines of many of the designs, so they can be used as digital stamps. Clip art outlines are more useful for crafty DIY projects, so you can color them yourself and decorate as you please.

Looking for a sunflower clipart outline to use in your DIY craft projects? Here’s a digital drawing of a sunflower I created for free download.
I’m still very excited about digital stamping and the fact that we can share drawings over the interwebs… it’s amazing! I’m actually about to get married this weekend and living here in Tuscany, Italy – sunflowers are definitely top of mind. Soon the fields will be blooming all over the hills here in Italy!
Sneaking in some computer time this morning, I went through my digital files and made some of my digital drawings into digital stamps. The sunflower outline is one of my favorites… so many possibilities in crafting once you have the template in hand, right?
Check out my sunflower clipart outline below as well as a couple more digital drawings I created. Just right-click and save the PDF files to your computer for your own personal use.

Looking for free printable papers for papercrafting and cardmaking? Here’s a variety of freebies for you to download and craft with!
I’ve been playing around with digital design, digital stamps and cardmaking these days and found that I love creating my own designs as paper printables.
It’s pretty amazing to have an idea, create the design from scratch and be able to print it out for craft projects instantly!
Here are some of the printable paper designs I’ve created and I decided to put them here on the blog for free download. What will you make with these free printable papers?
Although I’m a newbie and still need have much to learn about digital stamping, digital designs and all… I’m definitely enthusiastic and ready to learn more!
This morning I was really into the frenzy and created a bunch of cards from these ready to print designs. Primarily I’ve been concentrating on creating more base materials and decorated papers as supplies for projects.
Download the free printable paper designs below: just right-clicking on each image and saving the PDF to your computer.
The first one with the various sizes of flowers is a giant file, so I had to make it a zip file (still 16mb). Haven’t figured out the logistics yet – also the larger flowers are meant to be cut out and the smaller ones as decorated paper. The rest are pretty light PDFs to download…
I hope these printables can be useful to those of us who lack some crafting inventory or just starting out with papercrafting. I’m still just scratching the surface with digital design, but hope to share more.
