Check out this free printable tropical leaf background paper featuring the monstera leaf illustration – so pretty for journaling, collage and papercrafting fun!
This month I’ve designed a lot of tropical themed designs, so I decided to go back to this blank calendar template and used the monstera leaf illustration for a new set of papers. It seemed perfect for the tropical theme, but I wanted some more bright colors to make it a versatile set of patterned papers for journaling and decorating this summer.
These monstera leaf patterned papers to give you a perfect tropical leaf background paper design. The download includes a pack of 3 papers, so you have pink, yellow and green background colors to work with. I think the monstera leaf is a perfect motif for tropical themed projects and for the summertime especially.
You can use patterned papers in your planners for decoration, in your art journaling for collage, in your scrapbooks for layouts and many other paper crafting projects. What will you create next? Downloads these FREE Vintage Airmail Digital Paper Printables for happy mail, journaling and papercrafting!
So I’ve designed many airmail inspired designs here on the blog – like this airmail stationery set – but I actually have never created digital papers! Imagine that! So I decided it was time to design some papers that match the whole look and feel of vintage airmail papers. I’m using the classic motifs and red and blue stripes to create some designs that would be fun to use in happy mail spreads as well as in journaling pages.
There’s a classic stripe design which makes a great background for any kind of papercrafting. Then I have the airmail card sort of tiled up on a paper design, which can be used as a background or cut it up to use as cards for embellishment and deco. Finally there’s the paper using the par avion airmail with airplane motif. I think it’s a cute sticker stamp design.
What will you use these airmail paper designs for? You next pen pal letter or just having some fun with an art journaling page? I’m going to journal for sure, but since these are printables, I know I can always print out another copy for a new project as well. I definitely love the versatility and budget-friendly aspect of printables. Enjoy!

Download these freebie hello sunshine digital paper printables for some fun times journaling with patterned paper, collaging and papercrafting!
I designed this typography layout for the phrase Hello Sunshine awhile back, but I still love how happy and whimsical it looks. So I decided to take it and repeat it as a full page patterned paper. I think it would make a great background design for summer journaling and layouts. What do you think?
The design is on a stripey sort of kraft paper feeling texture in three yellow color variations. So you can take your pick of how yellow you want your paper or use all three! Definitely a fun patterned paper design using fonts to create a motif – cool, right?

Check out this set of floral digital paper printables for some fun creative journaling, collaging and papercrafting.
Today I wanted to share another set of free printable patterned papers with you! So I’m a big fan of floral motifs, it’s probably the one thing I draw the most. When doodling it’s the easiest and most natural to just draw a flower. And there are so many different types of flowers, I never get bored in illustrating them and see how they can be depicted.
It’s no surprise that floral motifs are a very popular design found in many products and supplies in the world. I decided to create a very simple blob type of floral motif and create bright and bold colored patterned papers with my doodles. It’s simple, yet such a pretty background created with simple lines and colors. What do you think of these floral digital paper printables? I will definitely be using these in my creative art journal as a background paper, because I just love to see color and bold patterns. Check out this free printable raindrops paper for a rainy day afternoon activity of journaling and collage.
With the Spring weather comes a lot of beautiful flowers but also a bit of spotty rainy weather as well. We have a lot of cloudy, seemingly gloomy days here in Italy. I wanted to create something for this type of weather so enter a rainy day, cloudy, raindrops type of paper pattern. It might seem a bit gloomy, but actually is a nice background for all kinds of journaling and paper crafting.
Imagine putting a colorful embellishment or rainbow on top of this patterned design, right? It will create beautiful contrast! I’m always a fan of digital paper designs, because you can easily print them out at home, any size needed and as many copies as you need (such as for cardmaking a whole batch!)
