Looking for a free printable gingham papers? Here’s my interpretation of the classic gingham design in a bright Spring color palette.
If you didn’t know already, I’m a big fan of designing repeat patterns. I’ve decided to go back to the basics and explore all the classic pattern designs and today we have the checkered gingham motif. It’s a classic type of background that we often use in projects.
I’ve decided to create the gingham pattern design in a variety of Spring colors, perfectly light and bright. There are actually many variations of a gingham pattern, all around overlapping lines, making grids and the criss-crossing of fabric threads. So there are other variations possible that would still be considered gingham. It’s interesting how many variations there can be!
However, for today I’ve gone with a pretty simple and clean pattern design. I think it’s universal and super versatile for all kinds of projects.

Looking for gingham paper that you can print out instantly? Here’s a set of classic gingham colors for all your paper crafting projects.
Recently, I posted free printable gingham papers in a pastel color palette here. Afterwards many of you wanted classic colored gingham paper as well. So I created another set of gingham digital papers to add to the collection.
My husband and I always laugh when we see the red and white gingham pattern out in the real world. It’s stereotypically a reminder of Italian restaurants and my husband is Italian! But it’s even more funny only because you do see it in actual Italian restaurants here in Tuscany. Perhaps stereotypes all start from some seed of truth?
So this time around, I decided to create a classic set of gingham papers in classic colors: black, red, blue, green and orange. It’s definitely more bold and can easily be used for neutral or more masculine projects as well.

I love digital printables and pattern paper is a favorite for me to create and share. I love designing and creating repeating patterns and a large scrapbook paper size means you can use it for so many projects.
What do you usually use printable paper or scrapbooking for? Art journals? Planner decoration or cardmaking? I pretty much do it all and love playing with paper.
Where are the masculine designs?
One thing I have noticed is that most designs are very girly and feminine. And I love them, don’t get me wrong. I have a weakness for pink and pink and more pink! But I also have a husband and a son, so other designs can be useful as well.
So today, I wanted to share something for the men and boys in our lives. How about a bit of rock n’ roll, guitars and stars? This paper is great for boys, teens and music lovers in general. You can use this printable paper for lots of masculine projects and I’ve included a white version as well as a gray twill texture version.

For the love of cosy Fall weather…
As we head into back to school season, the crisp air and cooler temperatures are definitely my favorite! I love the Fall weather and the colors that start to pop up amongst nature and trees. They just invoke that feeling of cozy in me!
So I wanted to create something using earthy tones and went with an all-over autumn leaves pattern. A big mix, but just solid Autumn themed colors. What do you think?
It’s definitely one of the color palettes I am exploring these days. Very boho down to earth and I think they really give off that grounding effect, don’t you think?
I think the pattern is great for seasonal photos and crafts this Fall, but also evergreen as it turns into a texture background effect. I hope you like these designs!

There’s something about floral designs that bring positive feelings and smiles to faces. I’m definitely a sucker for anything floral, so I think they can be really versatile pattern designs.

For the Love of Hybrid Scrapbooking and Crafting
Over the years I have designed so many patterns and papers that sometimes I can’t keep track of them all. I don’t actually have a database tracking all my releases… so I guess that is on me! And recently, I realized that I put up these four paper designs for download on a different site, but never shared them here on the blog. What?!
So here they are finally, four different patterned paper designs that are great for memory keeping. You can use these 12×12 inch digital papers for your scrapbooking but also for hybrid crafting. Printable papers are a great option for printing out the patterns you want and using them in tangible projects. That is definitely my usual approach!
I love digital because it doesn’t take up physical space and there’s no mess as you create. Copies are so easy, so digital supplies are such a resource! However, I always miss the tactile part of crafting, so hybrid is more my kind of thing. I like printing out my digital materials and using them traditionally.
However you like to use your digital supplies, I hope you enjoy these papers and have fun most of all! Happy printing!

Animal print patterns, from leopard to cheetah are super trendy these days and I have seen many variations out there. I decided to try my hand in creating an animal print design pattern and throwing in some non-traditional colors as well.
The tan colored spotted leopard cheetah pattern is classic and very earthy feeling to me. However, I wanted to share a splash of hot pink and turquoise blue as well. What do you think of the variations? With a bit of texture, this large-scale animal print pattern is great for planner dashboards and all kinds of happy mail papercrafting projects.
You can decorate your planner pages or collage them in your creative journal. Or maybe make some cards for friends? Looking for a happy lemon scrapbook paper design? Check out this cute lemon pattern design, a totally free download for all your crafty paper projects.
We’ve all heard that quote about life… lemons… and making lemonade, right? Even though it’s totally cliche, it truly is great advice, right? I mean, you’ve just got to make the best of whatever you’ve got. There’s no sense in being a grump, because it just doesn’t help the situation. I love the sentiment and try to remind myself all the time…
And so as I was pondering this topic one day, I decided to create a lemon leaf repeat pattern. Super simple and straightforward, but truly packed with so much meaning. The lemon is a motif that has so much packed into it… I love it! Plus, I love yellow. Hah!
So I created this lemon patterned paper design in a couple of variations and sharing here with you for free download.

One of my favorite simple pattern designs is the stripe pattern. It’s classic and beautiful to use as a background for any project, but I also love that you can use the lines as a guide for your designs and collage… as well as journal within the lines themselves. It’s really a favorite paper design for me, so I wanted to create a set of pastel colored stripes with a kraft texture for this Springtime season.
Although these rainbow of colors could be used for a variety of occasions, I think the pastel color palette is extra suitable for Springtime and Easter as well… what do you think?
