I know there are lot of calendar printables available on the web, but I’ve always struggled to find something clean, simple and customizable for my needs. So I decided to make my own monthly calendar printable and offer it as a free printable for download. At first it looks like any other calendar printable, but don’t be fooled!

The PDF calendar I have created has editable form fields! So when you open it up, it has November 2016 as I’ve put in for now, but you can edit every single one of the text fields in each box. It will be easy to update for each month that you need and make your own calendar printable.
It’s like having a blank calendar template, only you can type in the month, weekdays and numbers – instead of handwriting it.
I like being able to have a clean calendar when planning schedules and making notes regarding my kids’ schedules. Not only did I want a simple layout for my monthly calendar view, I’m also a monday start kind of calendar girl. In addition, I don’t like it when the end of the month has day 30 or 31 overlapping with the week before, hence the six rows of boxes. I would rather have the extra row and more space… so even if the calendar year doesn’t need it, I can use the extra boxes for other notes and future events. The blank left column also allows for notes of the month. Finally, there’s no watermark in this printable, because let’s face it – when it comes to calendars it’s already chock full of information, the cleaner and neater it can be, the better. And if you don’t want extra white space, you can always decorate it up!

Lots on my mind these days and so much to do! Of course, I had to stop and stall a bit by designing my own to-do list printable. There’s nothing like a little bit of cuteness to get me back on track and motivated to get all the tasks done.
I hope this free printable will give you some inspiration and energy to get through the day and check off all your tasks. We can be productive in style, right? So check it baby!

You might have noticed that Wednesdays happen to be freebie days here on tortagialla.com. In my mind I like to celebrate the middle of the week (hump day) by sharing something with all of you. This past week, in my attempts of planning and organizing, I whipped up some printable notepages for myself. They have motivational quotes at the bottom, to help encourage me to follow my dreams, believe in myself and move forward. I’m big on quotes, if you haven’t noticed already…I collect them like stamps 🙂

These notepages have been designed on A4 paper, the normal size here in Europe, so I can just print and cut in half. So for all the USA’ers you’ll have to Fit-to-Paper when printing or set it to a smaller percentage to make it fit on your paper size. Otherwise, you can make them even smaller to be notecards as well. Enjoy and feel free to spread the word. Ciao ciao!

Like many other artists and crafters, January is typically a time for organizing and planning. After the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, we can finally settle down and get focused for the upcoming year! I usually start my new year with making a few art journals to use and a yearly planner to help me keep focused on future tasks and goals. Writing out your thoughts, goals and tasks not only helps you to remember them later, but I think the act of writing helps to reinforce the idea in your mind as well. This year I decided to design some planner pages that I could print out at home and quickly bind together. I’m currently really loving the teal and gray color palette, however I like to leave lots of white space for doodling and coloring as well.
I think these planner pages are versatile enough for everyone and great for printing out to incorporate in your bujo and planners… if you don’t want to redraw boxes or want something reoccurring.

Feel free to download the graphics above (click to get large versions) to print for your own personal planner this year.
I created things to do list – always handy – as well as the weekly and daily planner pages. I took the easy route and just printed various combinations of the pages front and back on regular paper, then folded them all in half to make a simple booklet planner. You can also cut the pages in half and bind the pages in various combinations to suit your specific planning needs. I’m going to save more complicated binding techniques for an art journal I’m working on…I’ll show that tomorrow. Enjoy!

Wednesday is hump day as we used to call it back in my old workplace. Half the week is nearly done, but still another half to go. I like to break up the workweek with something other than the things I MUST do. It’s fun for me to break up my time with something casual that I can share with you all. A little something to get you over the hump day! Hence, I declare it to be free goodies Wednesday!
Christmas is a time of many lists to check off, especially for gift shopping. I have to admit that I’m a huge list maker, in general anyway. I just LOVE crossing out and checking off items that are complete. It gives me great satisfaction and I think it’s good to pat yourself on the back sometimes and realize how much you’ve accomplished. That is why I also break up tasks into the smallest parts possible – more to cross off, right? It’s really a great feeling and breaking tasks into small bits makes it all the easier to accomplish as well. A little project management trick, I say. I am currently working on some mini sketchbooks, handbound with leather covers and I’ve written out every tiny step to make it pretty mindless, especially since I have to make duplicates.

Thus, I’ve created the little owlies Christmas list for your holiday task listing! The little owlies are sort of my mascots as I created them way back, when I first started blogging and sharing my designs. Write down all your to do’s and get it off your mind. Break it all up into small steps and then cross ’em out when completed. Feels good, doesn’t it?
