Looking for a free printable library card template? Here are some mock printables for decorating your books and papercrafting.
Another week means another free printable for you!
As I work on designs, sometimes there are extras left over that I put up as a free download here on the blog. It’s nice to be able to share something that others can use in their crafting. The more the merrier!
Here’s an example of something that I wanted to create, just because library journaling cards have been all the rage in papercrafting. They seem to be popping up all over, in scrapbooking and cardmaking.
Although it would be great to find real vintage library cards to incorporate into projects, it’s nice to have a printable version that I can repeatedly use. Print as many copies as you like!
Here’s my free printable library card template in a couple of styles.

This week has been full of computer-time and digital work for me, so when I needed to make a birthday card for a friend I naturally started with a digital design. With birds on the brain from my daily bird exercise, the phrase “bird-day” instead of “birthday” popped in my head.
I decided to go with it and designed some pieces to print out, then put it all together for more tactile feel. I will be creating a nest for the birdie with strips of kraft paper on the front of the card. Who doesn’t love hybrid handmade, goodness, right?
I thought I would share the graphics with all of you, in case you want to make a quicky bird-day card for someone!

Feel free to use it in your personal projects. The printable has the first page for the front of the card and a second page for the inside panels, if you want to include them. Happy hump day to all and until tomorrow…ciao ciao!

Hi folks! Happy Wednesday to you. It’s hump day…middle of the week, you know? I wanted to share a little illustration with you…it’s an illustration I created for the Cool Mom Picks contest, but didn’t get picked in the end. I figured someone could use it for valentines, it’s meant to be printed and colored in by your kids. Hope you enjoy it! I’m off now to prepare some Valentine designs…the days are counting down!

Happy holidays to everyone first of all. Can you believe that Christmas is nearly here? Less than 10 days to finish all those projects, wrap presents and prepare for the festivities. Woohoo! I have been busy working on various winter related designs and one of them is a wreath graphic for a digital card I created. I decided to use this same wreath graphic for some last minute notecards with matching envelopes and labels/tags. I think it’s definitely a very festive set and happy with the results.

Whew, it’s the end of November 2009 already and thus the end of AEDM. It’s been a whirlwind of events and although I missed a week from getting sick, looking back at my posts – I realized that I have accomplished a lot. I put myself out there, more so than normally and so glad to have shared my work and thoughts.
Thank you to Leah for starting this fabulous community, so supportive and open. Also, thank you to all of you as well. I feel as if I’ve grown up a bit, matured just a little and took one step closer to my dreams and goals of being a full-time artist. No matter how small the step, it’s a step forward nevertheless. Although there’s a long road ahead and I’m sure many more challenges, I’m excited and happy to be on this journey.
Today, I decided to offer a free printable to say thank you to everyone. Even though Thanksgiving has past, it’s always a good time to give thanks. We can’t take for granted all the caring people around us and online that help us through our everyday challenges of living our lives and getting through the days, good or bad. Here’s my way of giving back a little, I hope you like it!
